Eye Surgery

I dug up the first long message for friends after my eye surgery. I had the operation done about a month and a half ago in Bangkok — no regrets, it’s awesome. I had about -2 and astigmatism. Now I have 100% vision.

Well, what can I say, I fucking see well!

Yes, it still takes a long time to heal, but so far it seems like one of the best decisions too, global-wise, unless some additional complications arise because I’ll be an idiot, but I’ll try to minimize that)

In the end, the operation cost $2400 for both eyes, the doctor told me I didn’t need the latest method, because my minus was small and the astigmatism was very slight) So it was FEMTO LASIK or something like that. In short, the second newest, not SMILE.

Of course, it was scary as hell, but mainly from the feeling that I’m alone in a foreign country, babbling in English, having some fucking eye surgery. But the procedure was quick, like in cyberpunk, they hustle you around, the laser shines, cool atmosphere)…

In short, I’ll still live of course, the eyes in general can fart around for 1–3 months, changing, but so far it seems like a very cool thing, yes. I think this will be one of those things that’s like “why didn’t I do this sooner”. Like quitting drinking, for example, probably like getting a driver’s license, or like having a good wife)”

If anyone’s interested in asking about vision — welcome. Still feeling it as something incredibly beautiful. :) But at the moment it was very scary and of course, healing is boring)
