Economics User Guide

It’s one of the least boring books on economics I’ve ever read. It’s a great fit if you want to get acquainted with such an essential part of society’s life as economics but don’t want to fall asleep. Only the old Economics is better (well, maybe the new one is fine, too; I haven’t read it).

It examines the causes and nature of fairly recent economic crises (not yet the coronavirus one). Learning about the hard life of workers in London 200 years ago was interesting. In short, I recommend it. But don’t expect to be able to skim the book. After all, it’s economics, so some gloominess is needed.
