The Most Pro-Crypto Government Ever in the U.S.! WE’RE ALL GETTING RICH, HAHAHA (it just pumped like crazy in a week… when it dumps, I’ll vanish from the topic, sorry).

I recently became a bit more of a “crypto enthusiast” than before. I’m following projects, the general flow in the space, and all that, so I decided to drop a post on what I think is relevant in crypto for 2025 (well, actually even earlier). This is not financial advice, for sure.

Personally, I’m making a big bet in 2025 on DeFi and RWA. Here’s what they are, in a nutshell (well, not exactly two words).

DeFi (Decentralized Finance)

It’s an ecosystem of financial services that work without intermediaries like banks or brokers, thanks to smart contracts and blockchain technology.

What does this include?

  • Decentralized exchanges (DEX): For example, Uniswap, PancakeSwap, SushiSwap.
  • Lending and borrowing: Platforms like Aave and Compound let you borrow funds using crypto as collateral or lend your assets.
  • Staking and more: You lock your funds to support the network and earn interest. For instance, CVX or CRV.

I’m holding a decent chunk of CRV/CVX. I think these platforms will bridge the gap between traditional finance and the brave new world.

🔗 Curve Finance

RWA (Real World Asset Tokenization)

What’s that in two words?

You turn any asset into a digital token that represents ownership or a share of it. For example, a gold bar, real estate, paintings, or collectibles. The cool part is fractional investments and how much faster it is compared to traditional methods.

Of course, there’s inertia and regulatory battles, but the ice is breaking.

One of the projects where I have a solid position is HBAR (Hedera). They recently dropped some good news, and the project overall feels alive and kicking.

🔗 Hedera

Personally, I think we’ll see more crypto regulations soon, along with more institutional investors. This will lead to real-world applications of the technology, rather than just moving promises around.

I’ll write about meme coins separately — that’s a whole other story… 😉
